On the basis of CLAT scores candidates are allotted National Law Universities, also CLAT score help candidates to get admission into various government and private law colleges across the country.

CLAT 2020 Application Form
CLAT Application Form 2020 will be available online at www.clat.ac.in. Online registration for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 will be started from January 2020. Candidates can fill the application form from the official website only through online mode. Registration for the entrance exam begins from 1st week of January and lasts till last week of March, 2020. A student can only fill only one application. The candidates are required to upload their scanned photograph in the application form with the following specifications:
(Dimensions: 200*230 pixels & size: 20KB to 50KB),
Signature with Dimensions of 140*60 pixels & size: 10KB to 20KB and Specially Abled Persons (SAP) certificate (If required).
Once the application form is submitted, no alteration/editing in the online application can be done.
CLAT 2020 Exam Dates
The application form for CLAT 2020 will be released on 1st week of January 2020 and the last date for the submission of application form is last week of March 2020. The admit cards for the examination will be released by 3rd week of April 2020. The entrance exam will be held by 2nd week of May 2020. Post-exam, answer key will be released by the 3rd week of May, 2019 and the representation of questions can be done till the 3rd week of May 2020. If required, amended answer key can be uploaded by the 4th week of May, 2020. Finally, the merit list for the entrance examination will be declared by the last week of May. 2020. The first seat allocation list will be published by the 1st week of June 2020. Further, the counselling fee payment can be done till 2nd week of June, 2020.
CLAT 2020 Application Fee
Candidates appearing for CLAT have to submit Rs. 4000 as an application fee. For SC/ST category, it will be Rs. 3500. The application fee will be non-refundable and non-adjustable and candidates can also make payment through offline mode (Bank Challan). Payment for the application form can be done through credit card/debit card/net banking/pay wallet/RuPay, etc.
CLAT Eligibility Criteria 2020
On the nationality basis, candidates from Indian National/ NRI/ NRI category can also apply. NRI/NRI sponsored candidates can go for those NLUs where such category is admitted. On the other hand, Foreign National candidates do not have to appear for CAT and can directly apply to the concerned institutions. There will be no upper age limit for UG Integrated & PG courses.
On the basis of qualification, candidates seeking admission for UG courses must have passed class 10+2 with minimum 45% marks(general/OBC/SAP And other categories) and 40% marks (for SC/ST categories) from any recognized board. Candidates seeking admission for PG courses must have passed LLB (Hons.) or any other equivalent examination with minimum 55% marks (for general/OBC/SAP and other categories) and 50% marks (for SC/ST categories).
CLAT 2020 Exam Pattern
The examination will take place in the second week of May, 2020 through an online mode (computer- based test). The duration of the exam will be 2 hours. A total of 200 questions (for UG) and150 questions (for PG) will be asked which will comprise of Multiple choice/objective type questions. The question paper will be of 200 marks (for UG) and 150 (for PG). Each wrong answer will deduct 0.25 marks.
CLAT Syllabus 2020
For Under-Graduate courses, syllabus comprises of the following sections, i.e. English including comprehension, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.
For Post-Graduate courses, candidates have options to study from sections i.e. Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence and other law subjects.
CLAT Admit card
Candidates will download the admit cards/hall tickets through online mode by logging into their LOGIN account. The admit cards will be issued in the third week of April, 2020. Candidates are required to carry the downloaded admit card along with other required documents to the examination hall along with a valid ID proof.
CLAT 2020 Result
The CLAT 2020 Result will be declare on the official website only. The result for the examination will be declared by the last week of May 2020 through the online mode. To check the result candidates have to login with email ID and password.
